Hot off the heels of their WBRU Rock Hunt win, The L*U*V's entered Providence, RI's Sound Station 7 studio (located in a repurposed firehouse) to record tracks with their new drummer, Eric Stardust. The band recorded songs they previously worked on with original drummer Paul DeVernais, as well as some new material. What came forth was an album of more ambitious songs and studio experimentation.

Now, 15 years later, this is the first time "STAY PRETTY" has ever been heard outside of their inner circle. It is raw, unforgiving, loud, quiet, loud, and un-mastered, a fitting tribute to a band spiraling out of control.
